hey there 👋
I'm a software engineering polyglot with 7+ years of experience and a solid Computer Science background. I love building things that make a difference, whether it's leading teams, architecting solutions, or diving deep into code.
My journey has taken me through the entire engineering ecosystem – from frontend and mobile development to backend, cloud architecture, data engineering, SRE and DevOps. I'm big on team culture and believe in bringing positive energy to every project I work on.
what I'm up to
In my spare time, I've been working on entrepreneurial projects and taking these to production. I am currently working on a Raspberry Pi powered device, running software I have written that calls to Islamic prayers through bluetooth speakers, which features advanced capabilities like Over The Air (OTA) updates and is consumer ready. I have named this 'Midhana' - feel free to check it out on my projects page. I am also working on various applications within the hospitality and blue collar industries, focusing on solving real world problems.
Too often, we get caught up in building the next shiny thing, but I approach problems with a focus on creating solutions that are maintainable and scalable from the ground up, with industry pain points serving as the foundation to build a useful solution on. That said, the nerd within me loves to dive deep into bleeding edge technologies. Currently, I'm utilising generative AI for ideation, design, and development, and also creating AI-enabled features, using LangChain and LangGraph, in my own solopreneur projects.
what I do for fun
When I'm not engineering, I am bingeing on books, anime, tv series, movies and podcasts, travelling or getting competitive in the gym and with motorsports.
